This morning Lomography announced a third piece of glass to their Art Lens line-up: the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens. It follows the Petzval and Russar+
The lens will bring the classic character and quality of the original LC-A Russian optics to Leica M mount rangefinders and other digital mirrorless cameras when paired with an adapter.

The LC-A Minitar-1 is constructed from brass and aluminum, and uses the LC-A’s 4-step zone focusing system, 32mm focal length, and aperture control. The lens has a relatively bright f/2.8 max aperture and a minimum aperture of f/22, which makes it versatile for a Lomo lens.
The LC-A Minitar-1 is designed as an ultra-compact pancake lens, which is clearly to appeal to the street photography crowd at which its aimed. It’s available in black and silver.

The new lens is currently available for preorder on Lomography’s site, and starts shipping in July.
