We tend to think any time of year is great for photography, but fall is the time when mother nature really shines. That’s why our fall month photo contests are always packed so full of excellent and seasonal images. But, this is Your Best Shot, which means anything (well, pretty much anything) goes.

To enter our monthly contest, simply select up to three of your best recent images. Then, submit them, providing as much background and technical info as possible. Be sure to include accurate contact info so we can get in touch with our winners.

First place gets $300, second place gets $200 and third place gets $100. Submissions have to be received by November 1, at 12:01 AM. A gallery of our favorites will run on PopPhoto.com and top winners will be published in the print edition of Popular Photography.
