Today's Photo of the Day feels appropriate when a large chunk of the country is getting hammered with snow. Robert Jinks takes a very interesting look at a landscape that's utterly dominated by man-made structures. These towers are something most of us are very used to seeing, but it can be easy to forget just how enormous they really are and what an imposing presence they have in our environment. From a photographic standpoint, the fading of the towers as well as the excellently-executed symetry make this a very effective photo. It was shot with a Nikon D4 using a 70-200mm zoom lens. You can see more of Rober's work over on his Flickr page.
