Each month we challenge our talented readers to show us their best work for a chance to win money and get published in the pages of Popular Photography. This month’s contests are now in full swing, so grab your camera and go make a winning image. Here’s a quick list of what’s going on right now.

Your Best Shot

Our monthly photo free-for-all has no specific subject. We’re just looking for great photos. The subject matter, orientation, and presentation are all up to you. We just ask that you be creative and give us current work.

June Photo Challenge: The Blue Hour

The golden hour gets a lot of credit, but its bluer sibling can produce some truly incredible scenes. The idea is to shoot after sunset, but before night has fully settled in. It’s tricky to catch and it rarely lasts a full hour, but the reward is often incredible blue hues in your shot.

Readers’ Photo Contest

Our biggest contest of the year costs $10 per image to enter, but it’s perennially one of the biggest showcases of incredible reader work. The prizes are bigger and the competition is tougher, so think of it as playing on the expert difficulty level.
