Photo Researcher Needed at the RNC?
An amusing post on Talking Points Memo questions whether one of the images shown during Senator John McCain's speech Thursday was put up mistakenly. I didn't care for the revolving imagery shown behind the convention speakers in general--found it distracting, at least on my old 24-inch Sony TV. One of the images shown behind McCain showed a large building with arched windows. Turns out it was a picture of Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, California. What is the significance of that

An amusing post on Talking Points Memo questions whether one of the images shown during Senator John McCain’s speech Thursday was put up mistakenly. I didn’t care for the revolving imagery shown behind the convention speakers in general–found it distracting, at least on my old 24-inch Sony TV. One of the images shown behind McCain showed a large building with arched windows. Turns out it was a picture of Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, California. What is the significance of that particular building? I dunno. If anyone has any ideas on this, please let us know. TPM speculates that RNC producers meant to show a picture of Walter Reed Army Medical Center but got it mixed up.–David Schonauer
