Fred Spira, Photo Innovator Dies
An interesting obituary in the New York Times (let's hope they got the facts right this time) about a man who helped bring photography into the modern age. The point here, as I see it, is that we can't talk about the art of photography without talking about the people who have created the technology of photography. I really didn't know much about Fred Spira until I read this. --David Schonauer
