The New York Times's "Circuits" section today is all about digital photography, and includes a good piece about the permanence of inkjet prints. The article doesn't break any new ground, and it won't guide you to the most long-lasting papers and inks, but it's a solid overview of the issue and the technology behind digital printing of all kinds. (Go here to see read it in full.) Best of all is the cool photo of Henry Wilhelm, the printing guru from Grinnell, Iowa. He's posing next to a new device that tests the effects of light on inket prints.
