On my recent stopover from Las Vegas with my fiancée, I made sure that I was prepared to photograph it—we had only 30 minutes between flights. I’m interested in close-up photography and had extension tubes, so I decided to try to capture a profile view of that magical quality of light. These are calla lilies, which I noticed one day on my postal route and returned later with my husband to photograph.
