Singapore Time Lapse

The Lion City II – Majulah from Keith Loutit on Vimeo.

There are a lot of great time lapses out there on the internet, so creating one that truly impresses people takes intense amounts of work. The time lapse posted above was created by Keith Loutit and it’s really something to behold.

The shots capture Singapore’s urban spaces, usually at night, creating a collection of scenes that look like the intro to a very high-budget movie. The movements are interesting and often a little unexpected. Digital Rev has an interesting look into the technical challenges that were involved in the project, which involved several Nikon D4S cameras and many, many terabytes of secure storage.
