Photographer's Tripod Mistaken For Machine Gun

My brain can think up all kinds of excuses about why I shouldn’t bring a tripod when I go out shooting. Now, apparently I can add “it might get mistaken for a machine gun” to that list. The police eventually arrived to the building and did a floor-by-floor search before figuring out the mix-up that had taken place.

But, it's a nice reminder for us all to be aware of our surroundings. You never know what's going to happen.
