Nikon Coolpix S80 has a 3.5-inch OLED touch screen
The S70 was no slouch when it came to style, but Nikon has stepped it up even further with the .7-inch thick S80. Its loaded up with 17 scene modes, including Easy Auto Mode, as well as Face-Priority AF, Smile Timer and Blink Warning. Nikon says it will be available some time in the fall with six color options (red, black, blue, pink, gold and silver/brown) and a price tag of $329.

The S70 was no slouch when it came to style, but Nikon has stepped it up even further with the .7-inch thick S80. It’s the only Nikon compact announced today that actually gained megapixels over its previous model, jumping from 12.1 to 14.1. But, the real draw is on the back of the camera where you’ll find the roomy 3.5-inch (819,000 dot) OLED touch screen, which, like the S1100pj will let you draw on your photos right in the camera.
Other features include 720p HD video, 5x optical zoom (35-175mm equivalent) and 5-Way Vibration Reduction, which includes a maximum ISO setting of 6400. The CCD sensor is complimented by Nikon’s Expeed C2 image processing engine. Because it’s designed with a more casual, style-oriented user in mind, it’s loaded up with 17 scene modes, including Easy Auto Mode, as well as Face-Priority AF, Smile Timer and Blink Warning.
