The Guts: Kodak Inkjet Printer Head

Digital Photography is so dependent on image processing that we can sometimes forget that what makes it possible are mechanical devices— an inkjet printer head is a perfect example. The one seen here, used in all current Kodak inkjets, can fire up to 90 million 2.7 or 6.5 picoliter ink droplets per second from 3,840 individual ejectors. Pretty awesome.
