If Facebook is any indicator, people love to take self-portraits and Samsung is capitalizing on our vanity by adding a handy LCD screen to the lens-side of their new compacts.  Not only will it give you a preview of your shot, but it can also display a timer countdown, shutter info, mode indicator or a funny looking clown designed to get little kids to look at it and smile. The back of the camera is dominated by a 3.50inch captive touchscreen, further proving that Samsung's new-found hatred for buttons. The spec sheet suggests a 12.2-megapixel sensor and a 27mm Schneider lens with 4.6-inch zoom. We would have expected it to be a little wider (24mm maybe?) if it's designed for great self-portraits, but 27mm is still fairly wide. It gets the same HD video shooting mode as the CL65 and will be available later this month for $350. Full press release below.
