Mitchell Haughton submitted this image taken with a Canon 30D, with an exposure of 1/3200sec at f/4, ISO 160. The bird is nice and sharp but the image is lacking interest. The black and white works nicely but I would suggest a tighter vertical crop as this image is all about the bird.

The black and white works nicely but I would suggest a tighter vertical crop as this image is all about the bird. If you stay with the wide crop, clone out the spot in the upper third right corner.
