Your Photo: Our Critique

Sarah Corbett submitted this image taken with a Nikon D70s, with an exposure of 1/320sec at f/11, ISO 200. First things first, straighten up the horizon. Other than the somewhat crooked horizon, this is a nice photo. The hill and the rocks leading to the water’s edge create a nice diagonal line across the image. It has foreground interest with the rocks and background interest with the clouds. The lighthouse is off center and is balanced by the other elements. The whole scene is exposed properly

If I were to suggest a crop it would be to cut off of the bottom just a bit. Overall this is a well composed and executed image.
