Your Photo: Our Critique

Timothy Maestas submitted this image taken with a Nikon D300, with an exposure of 1/800sec at f/5.6, ISO 100. There is very nice detail in the mountain range. Consider cropping some off the top, bringing more attention to the main subject of the photo. The highlights and shadows in the mountain create dimension and detail. The fog moving through the range in the foreground adds a layer of separation between the peaks.

The background accents the main peak.  Set to aperture-priority, the camera did a nice job of exposing the scene.
