When looking out over an expansive landscape scene, it can be tough to choose the best possible frame. To improve the composition of your shots:

• Try to put something in the foreground. Objects in the foreground will draw viewers into the picture by adding interest.

• Focus on the edges of your shot. Try not to cut off trees or rocks and avoid objects that branch into your shot.

• Look for strong natural lines in the landscape.
