There's something very interesting about ID pictures/mugshots of celebrities. At one point or another, almost all of us are subjected to that harsh, ugly light and the unsightly shadow it creates. It's not supposed to mae you look good, but rather to accentuate every irregularity in your face that could possibly make you more identifiable. The picture on Johnny Cash's deputy card seems oddly appropriate. It reminds me a little of Tommy Lee Jones in No Country for Old Men. The whole ID looks as if it could be one of his album covers. The Wu Tang Clan's ODB did something similar, only he used his public assistance ID card (pictured after the break).
