John P. Winfrey submitted this image with no additional data. John loves this for the abstract look.  Abstract photography has different meanings to different people, there is no right or wrong way to a basic abstract photograph, the trick is to make a great abstract photograph. Abstract images take out the obvious and should make you think about what it is and allow you to concentrate on the elements of the image such as the colors, patterns, contrast and texture.  John has found something with great color, a unique pattern, contrast and texture.  Good job seeing beyond the obvious. For a fun effect you could do a series of this image changing the hue to create different colored versions.
