Andrea Biagianti submitted this image taken with a Nikon D300, with and exposure of 1/250sec at f/5.6, ISO 200. This is a nice example of using complementary colors to create a strong image. Nice composition placing the bench and the lady off center. The small square openings in the wall add interest along with the texture of the wall. The lady’s line of site helps guide the viewer’s attention across the image, and the light is nice and even. This photo is fine just the way it is but you could also use a very slight crop all the way around and a touch of curves to help it pop just a little more.
