Canon 5D Mark II firmware upgrade will bring manual exposure in video mode
The video function on Canonre very happy to see it. It will be interesting to see if the more affordable T1i will eventually get the same treatment, or if manual control will be reserved for those willing to plunk down more dough.

The video function on Canon’s 5D Mark II has already been proven a winner, but in early June, it’ll get even better. The free download will bring with it the ability to manually control shutter speed, aperture and ISO manaully while shooting video. It’s something users have been asking for so we’re very happy to see it. It will be interesting to see if the more affordable T1i will eventually get the same treatment, or if manual control will be reserved for those willing to plunk down more dough.
