Nick Morris submitted this image taken with a Canon Mark III, with and exposure of 1/125 sec at f/2.8, ISO 400. The photo is a still from a documentary filming on drug violence. This is a unique image and definitely tells a story. The caption goes on to explain this photo is from a prisoner transfer from a Tijuana to Prison. Technically the subject is tack sharp and off center, the depth of field helps the gun stand out and still give you an idea of what is going on. I keep going back and forth on the red object in the top right hand corner, my immediate thought is to crop it out as I personally find it takes away from the background, some may say it helps frame that corner.  I would like to see the whole holster from top to bottom but the butt of the gun adds tension to the photo; it grabs your attention.
