Koen Tahon submitted this image taken with a Canon 40D, with an exposure of 10 seconds, at f/10, ISO 160. Koen was concerned that the image was too dark but all of the details in the foreground show up and the darkness of the image sets the mood. If Koen continues to feel the image is too dark he could lighten the foreground in post processing.  Koen discovered the beauty of a wide-angle lens (10mm) on a body with a 1.6 crop factor, the distortion is very small with this combination. The long exposure gives a soft flowing feel to the clouds.  What started as a test of the wide angle resulted in a beautiful image.
