This image submitted by Carol McKinney was taken with a Canon 40D, with an exposure of 1/250sec at f/6.3, ISO 800.  It is a wonderful use of available light. I am a little confused why such a high ISO was used when a lower one would still have given a nice shutter speed.  Fortunately the quality is still good at ISO 800.  The photo itself is a great capture with great detail, the eyes, the off in thought expression, the tiny hands with the tiny painted fingernails.  Yes the face is dead center but the negative space on the right of the frame is very appropriate, giving room for the eyes to look into. Cropping less tightly, including the feet might move the face to the right a bit.  The tones are very warm and add to the image.
