Your Photo: Our Critique

George Nakamura submitted this image taken with a Nikon D60, with an exposure of 1/100 sec at f/5.6, ISO 800. This photo captures the feel of the festival. The composition works, the depth of field adds to the image, but the exposure is a little off. The exposure can be improved with curves, nothing drastic just a small adjustment to the curves will help the subject “pop” off of the background.

The details of her face and costume are there but they are lost in the original, an adjustment will bring them to life.
