Your Photo: Our Critique

Elliott Browner submitted this image taken with an Olympus E500, with an exposure of 1/160sec, at f/4.5, ISO 100. Nice symmetry but a little overexposed, especially on the body. The web and spider itself is a great image, the spider is tack sharp and the depth of field knocked out the detail in the background creating a moody backdrop for the web.

Nice symmetry but a little overexposed, especially on the body.  Some post process work could improve it a little with the exception of the part that appears blown out.  The web and spider itself is a great image, the spider is tack sharp and the depth of field knocked out the detail in the background creating a moody backdrop for the web. The legs on the spider add interest.  Good job catching light on the web.
