Canon's New $899 Rebel T1i Shoots HD Video

The press release for Canons released in early May, but will come toting some snazzy features from both the 50d and the 5d Mark II. The sensor is the same APS-C-sized 15.1 megapixel CMOS you find in the 50d, only the T1i has the ability to shoot HD video up to 1080p at 20fps (720p at 30fps). The press release for Canon's newest addition to the Rebel line claims that it's an "entry-level juggernaut" and they aren't kidding. The body will cost just $799 (add $100 if you want the EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS kit lens) when it's released in early May, but will come toting some snazzy features from both the 50d and the 5d Mark II.
