David Perks submitted this photo he took of a winter wonderland in Canmore, Alberta, Canada with his Canon 20D and Canon 17-55mm lens with an exposure of 1/400 sec at f/9 ,ISO 200. The exposure is well done, especially considering it’s hard to meter correctly off snow. Also, I think David’s composition is quite nice. I like the placement of the fence post on the left and the horizon line in the top third half of the photograph. The detail of the frost on the fence is interesting detail. There are no major changes I would make to this photograph.
