Beverly Cromer submitted this image taken with a Canon Rebel Xsi, with an exposure of  1/85 sec at f/8, ISO 200. This image would be stronger with a slightly tighter crop across the top, alleviating the white triangle in the top left corner.  The shadows work well with the woodwork to frame the cat.  The image would be more engaging if the cat’s eyes were open.  There are smudges either on the wall or dust on your sensor, clone those out for less distractions.
