Dana is just beginning to work with her new Nikon D300, at 1/1000 sec, f/4.9, ISO 80. At first glance this image appears flat which can be improved in post processing. It also looks like Dana went with straightening the horizon in the background, in this image it might be better to straighten the foreground elements, the land the tree is on. The tree is almost a silhouette but not quite, adjust the levels both the black point and the white point to make the most of the available date. To bring back details in the sky and the tree make adjustments with curves, contrast and saturation in select channels. As to composition this is a basic reflection shot but Dana has done a nice job including the complete tree creating a nice symmetrical photo. The small boats add scale but detract from the symmetry.
