A budding photographer, Emily Holland has submitted this image taken with a Canon Rebel XT at 1/8 sec, f/3.5, ISO 800. The converging lines of the buildings add interest to this photo. I will admit to not being a huge tilt fan, in this case if you straighten up the building at the end of the street you get a pleasant surprise, in addition to the converging lines you have a nice diagonal line leading the viewer through the image to the building, I realize my quick edit is a bit narrow but it is f

I will admit to not being a huge tilt fan, in this case if you straighten up the building at the end of the street you get a pleasant surprise, in addition to the converging lines you have a nice diagonal line leading the viewer through the image to the building, I realize my quick edit is a bit narrow but it is for illustration. This is a nice night image and is very sharp. The photo appears to be of a historic section of Philadelphia and gives you a big picture idea of the area at night. Emily you are off to a great start, keep practicing and trying different approaches to your photos.
