Before Crop After Crop
Dan Galvin submitted this photo taken with a Canon Powershot A710 IS with an exposure of 1/1250 sec at f/7.1. This photo breaks my number rule; do not shoot into direct light. You end up with a huge white eye sore, not to mention the exposure is thrown off. The only way to fix this photo at this point is a crop to get rid of the overexposed area.
