Your Photo: Our Critique

Melissa Bartucci submitted this image taken with a Nikon D60, 1/400 sec, f/10, ISO 100. This image has wonderful feel to it. Using the flower to block the sun makes the petals come to life showing all of the detail. The cropping is interesting and obviously done on purpose to give the image a panoramic feel. The wider crop leaves room for copy if this was to be used commercially but consider cropping some off of the right still leaving you with the wide image.

Next time try to include the top portion of the flower.  It is a shame there were not more clouds in the sky to add interest.  Overall this is a different image and nicely done.
