Where To Go and What To See

— Lindsay Sakraida

It's a light post for gallery listings this week, as most of America prepares to be seated and sated by food, football, and premature Holiday TV. But, should gallery hopping be on your agenda, we have a few openings of interest. In particular, Eugene Richards's "A Procession of Them" (at 401 Projects in New York) shows heartbreaking insight into the lives of the mentally disabled. Richards went to Mexico, Armenia, Paraguay, Hungary, Kosovo, and Argentina to document how these misunderstood people are treated—or, rather, _mis_treated—by society.
