I received my latest issue of Popular Photography a couple of days ago and when I picked it up today to read, I was so happy to see some very beautiful food shots and the how to’s about taking them but my question is:  For a Magazine of this size and stature, at what point did you decide to go with a formal setting with an informal utensil placement?  I like the crooked fork, it works, but the knife with the cutting edge turned away from the plate?  Amateur and inappropriate.  Here you are trying to portray elegance and dignity and you can’t even set a proper table.  Shame.  And I thought photography was all about the details… my bad.  You got it right on page 68 by the way.
