Famous Photo recreated for Veteran’s Day
In honor of Veteran’s Day today, 90-year old Edith Shain of Los Angles traveled back to New York City’s Times Square to recreate one of the most famous photos in American history. Shain wrote a letter to Life magazine in 1980, identifying herself as the women being kissed in the iconic V-J Day photo taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt.
