Your Photo: Our Critique

Rebekah Dawn submitted this image taken with a Canon Powershot SD300 at 1/160 sec, f/2.8. This is a strange crop, I am pleased to see Rebekah has left room in the frame for the child to be looking into but one of the legs is behind him and then the front one gets cropped off while leaving a miscellaneous hand creeping into the right of the frame. Working with kids can be tricky since they don’t always stay where you want them to but you have to move around to find the best perspective.

Working with kids can be tricky since they don't always stay where you want them to but you have to move around to find the best perspective. By shooting down towards the child the background has stayed less cluttered but don't forget to try to get down to their level for a more personal image. This image is a little overexposed, adjusting your exposure will bring more life to the photo. This is a nice snapshot.
