Westcott’s New & Improved Website

For the contest, Westcott is asking interested pros, both established and new to the business, to register and submit samples of their work by October 10, 2008. Westcott will choose the winners based on their creative use of lighting, posing, and capture techniques.

A new, online resource to help photographers hone their lighting skills recently opened its virtual doors at F.J. Westcott's website, www.fjwestcott.com. Westcott, maker of lighting products for over 80 years, is offering the resource free of charge. Called the Westcott Community, it's currently comprised of a gallery where users can post images for the community to view and critique; a discussion board where users can post questions, introduce discussion topics, and offer feedback relating to Westcott's extensive line of lighting products; and a contest that will ultimately showcase the work of "The Top 100 Westcott Endorsed Pros."

For the contest, Westcott is asking interested pros, both established and new to the business, to register and submit samples of their work by October 10, 2008. Winners will receive a showcase page on the Westcott website, free admission to Westcott seminars and trade shows, as well as product discounts. Westcott will choose the winners based on their creative use of lighting, posing, and capture techniques.
