Kelly Rigsby sent this image in taken with a Pentax K100D, ISO 200 and set to the action program mode to use a faster shutter speed, the camera set the aperture to f/8. By letting the camera decide the settings it has under exposed the image. To fix this problem after the fact, I did a slight adjustment to levels, applies as S curve to bring out the plane while still keeping some color in the sky and slightly saturated the yellows and blues. This is one of those times you have to think for the camera.
