John Bradshaw submitted this photo of India he took with a Canon Rebel XTi. He shot this image at 3 sec, f/5, ISO 1600. To avoid having a lot of noise like in this photo, I suggest going with an even longer exposure and a lower ISO. At 1600, there is going to be noise but if you lower the ISO to say 400 you should see a dramatic decrease in the amount of noise. Night scenes can make beautiful subjects, but in this case there is way too much sky and not enough city. Like I always say, when it doubt go with the rule of thirds. A better placement for the skyline would have been higher at the lower horizontal third of the photo.
