Christopher Buczek submitted this photo taken with a Nikon D80, with an exposure of 1/160sec, f/4.5, ISO 320. He has used a popular process of selectively desaturating an image. I am not a huge fan of it but he has done a nice job keeping the colors of the kids true while desaturating the background. I am not a huge fan of it but he has done a nice job keeping the colors of the kids true while desaturating the background. As a photograph this works with the rope frozen in mid-air and the reactions from the smaller kids and the position of the kids. The top of the frame needs to be cropped to alleviate some of the area above the rope. I would even go so far to suggest a more horizontal crop giving the rope more room unless the background was distracting.
