Summer brings a lot of storms, so thake the opportunity to attempt to capture some stunning photos. Here’s a few things to remember:

1. Anticipate – Watch weather patterns and anticipate where lightning will strike, some areas this is easier than in others.
2. Compose the photo- Give some thought to your composition, including something of interest with the lightning.
3. Be patient – You may have to wait for the lightning to strike.
4. Use long shutter speeds- Leaving your shutter open will give you a better chance to capture lightning. Don’t despair this may take more than a few tries.
