Warren LaFever is thinking outside of the box with this shot taken with an Olympus E-500 at 1/60 sec, f/2, ISO 400. The real gem here is that Warren used a custom white balance set to 2000K to give the blue hue to the light. With such a shallow depth of field the turnkey in the foreground is not in focus. The out of focus turn key is one of the lightest points of the photo and is part of the focal point, so it should be in focus. The lines are nice, but tilting so more of the instrument winds from corner to corner would allow the lower turnkeys to be included in their entirety. This is a wonderfully creative image, with more thought to composition it would be a great photo.
