Your Photo: Our Critique

This image was submitted by Scott Blakeney. I can see what Scott was trying to accomplish here but it just misses. The sky reflected in the water with the silhouettes is a great start. There may not have been room to move, but if possible the image would be improved by a few steps to the left alleviating the foliage on the right of the frame. I would also crop out the grass in the left hand corner. The image is the sky’s reflection and the tiny people, remove the distracting parts when composing

I am pleased to see that Scott has seen beyond the obvious and captured something much greater.
