Tip of the Day: Bird Photography

• Use a blind or a hide- find or create a hidden area where the birds cannot see you as you take their picture.

The weather is beginning to change and the birds are singing again, here are a few tips to improve your technique as you see birds in your area this spring:

• Use a blind or a hide- find or create a hidden area where the birds cannot see you as you take their picture.

• Set out bait- a cleverly placed bit of bait will help guide the bird to the perfect landing spot for you.

•Play a bird tape- playing an audiotape of a bird sounds can entice a shy bird to come your way.

•Set up a bird feeder- Set up feeders and be ready to capture a bird in flight coming or going.
