Knowing all the keyboard shortcuts in Adobe Photoshop can make your work run more seamlessly. But what if there are no shortcuts for actions you perform regularly? Create your own.

Here’s how:
Click on “Keyboard Shortcuts” at the bottom of the Edit menu. Then simply find the action you want to create a shortcut for (for example, Image>Brightness/Contrast) and type in a shortcut that you want to use.

If the key(s) you chose are already assigned to another shortcut, Photoshop will tell you and give you the option to override it and change the conflicting shortcut, or just pick a different one.
