Tip of the Day: A Stitch in Time

One of the keys to panoramic stitching is to be sure that the images overlap sufficiently in content to make the panorama seamless. A 20 percent overlap of frame to frame is best. It’s also a good idea to shoot in Manual exposure mode, or to make an exposure reading and lock it in for each frame. This ensures that the meter won’t change the exposure settings as you move across the plane, causing a poor blend between frames.
