Your Photo: Our Critique

A bagpiper is a perfect subject for silhouetting, as there is such a distinctive, unmistakable, instantly recognizable contour line of the pipes. Focus is perfect as well, with just the piper being critically sharp, and the other people just a touch softer. Well done! This image might be even stronger if the far right couple are cropped out. And you might want to pull down the saturation just a touch. But overall, excellent! (photo submitted by Rachel S. Hill)—Jack HowardOnline Technology Editor
