Before After

This photo submitted by Katie Field has a few problems. Shooting snow can be challenging, but its important to make sure the snow is white. The snow in this photo looks gray. I suggest adjusting the levels to add more contrast and achieve whiter snow. The photographer said she liked the contrast of the bright building with the starkness of the surroundings. I would pump up the saturation (only a little, don't go overboard) to emphasize this contrast. A different composition or crop might have been better. Also, adding brightness and contrast makes the photo pop more. There is a lot you can do it post editing to fix these problems but starting off with a correct exposure will eliminate all that work.
