Audra Morales has sent us an image taken at sunrise in Newport, Oregon. This photograph is a perfect example of using the early hours to capture a beautiful scene. Some thought and planning went into exactly where to shoot from. Utilizing a smaller aperture of f/18 keeps everything from front to back in focus. The sky's reflection in the water gives this picture an ethereal feeling almost like a painting. Using the light to her advantage and a long shutter speed, the exposure looks good. If there was one thing I would suggest for next time it would be a different crop so the boats don't land dead center in the image.
